A caminho de Praga / On the way to Prague

Partindo de Viena, fomos em direção a Praga, o que por si só se seria maravilhoso. Porém, no meio do caminho tivemos uma parada estratégica. Na verdade não foi uma parada estratégica, foi uma parada encantadora. Visitamos a pequena e maravilhosa cidade medieval de Ceský Krumlov.

Situada ao sul da República Tcheca, Ceský Krumlov é uma cidadela envolta em muralhas. Sua entrada está protegida por gigantescos muros. Já o seu interior parece um conto de fadas.

Considerada Patrimônio Histórico da Humanidade pela UNESCO, a aconchegante Ceský Krumlov traz uma beleza arquitetônica de encher os olhos, tanto nos seus prédios históricos – castelo, catedral, museu – como também nas fachadas renascentistas de suas pitorescas casas. E já foi, inclusive, a residência da nobre família dos Rosemberg em nos idos de 1300.

O rio Vltava que cerca a cidade confere o toque especial que coroa Ceský Krumlov como um dos lugares mais encantadores que já visitei.

E por estar mais ou menos na metade da distância entre Viena e Praga, esta cidade torna-se parada obrigatória se você estiver nesse roteiro.

Leaving Vienna aiming Prague, which is supposed to be wonderful but itself, we had a strategic stop in the middle of the tour. In fact it was not a strategic stop, it was an enchanting stop. We visited the little and wonderful medieval town of Ceský Krumlov.

Located in the south of Czech Republic, Ceský Kryumlov is a walled town. Its entrance is protected by huge walls, nevertheless the town itself is like a fairy tale town.

Considered UNESCO World Cultural Heritage, the cosy Ceský Krumlov presents an astonishing architectural beauty – in its historical buildings (castle, cathedral, museum) – but also on the renaissance façades of its picturesque houses. And it was already the residential town of the noble family of the Rosemberg in 1300.

Vltava river surrounds the town and offers a special touch which crown Ceský Krumlov as one of the most beautiful and enchanting places I´ve ever visited.

And as it is in the middle of the tour from Vienna to Prague, this town is a mandatory stop if you are in this region.
