Safari Day 3 – em busca do leopardo / searching for leopard

Partimos para o nosso quarto safari com aquela expectativa de encontrar o tão esperado leopardo – o Big 5 mais difícil de se ver.

Ainda não seria dessa vez que teríamos essa oportunidade, mas posso dizer que esse dia nos trouxe belas cenas.

A primeira foi encontrar um grupo de girafas, as sempre simpáticas girafas, e vê-las “se pescoçando” (fazendo carinhos com o pescoço).

Mais uma vez, encontramos os leões no seu “momento Mc Lanche Feliz”. Só que desta vez havia uma família toda junta, tendo como destaque, um pequenino leão que já se aventurou a “roubar” a carne da boca do macho do bando, com rugido e tudo mais… claro que tomou o seu devido “fica na tua baixinho”.

E, como não poderia ser diferente, o dia terminou com um belíssimo por do sol.

We went to our fourth safari with a huge expectation of meeting the leopard – the most difficult Big 5 animal to be seen.

It would not be that time yet that we would have this opportunity, however that day brought us beautiful scenes.

The first one was provided by a group of giraffes, always so sympathetic giraffes, “necking” each other (caressing each other with the neck).

Once again we found a group of lions having their “Happy Meal”. That time it was a whole family all together, and the attention was directed to a small baby lion trying to “steal” the meat from the big male´s mouth, even roaring… of course that got a kind of “hey mini me… be quiet” effect.

And, as it could not be different, the day finished with a beautiful sunset.
