Schloss Schönbrunn

Schloss, em alemão, significa Palácio.

Schönbrunn, diz a lenda, veio de “schöner brunn” que significa “bela nascente”, devido ao descobrimento de um poço naquela região no século XVI.

O Palácio de Schönbrunn foi construído entre 1638 e 1643 e foi a residência de verão da família Imperial Austríaca – os Habsburgos.

O Palácio é belíssimo, tanto pela parte externa quanto interna. Diversas obras de arte compoem o cenário o cenário do palácio, apresentando pinturas, esculturas, utensílios e objetos daquele período. Entretanto, o que mais chama a atenção, e não é para menos, é o jardim do Palácio.

Grande área muito bem cuidada, com detalhes feitos nos jardins e finalizando, ao fundo, com uma bela e enorme fonte. Compondo a arquitetura, há ainda umas colunas, o que oferece um toque todo especial.

Aqui foi o local onde o lançamento de produto que comentei em posts anteriores, ocorreu acompanhado de um quarteto de cordas (e não poderia ser diferente, não é? Se no Brasil tudo acaba em Samba, na Terra de Mozart, a musicalidade é a sinfonia, ao menos no evento).

Esse palácio vem provar, mais uma vez, porque a Europa me cativa tanto e reforça a tríade fantástica que esse continente nos oferece: cultura, arquitetura e belas cidades.

Schloss means Palace, in German.

Schönbruun, according to the legend, came from “schöner brunn”, which means “nice/beautiful spring” due to the well discovered in that region on 16th Century.

The Schönbrunn Palace was built from 1638 to 1643 and it was the summer residence of Austrian Imperial Family – the Habsburgs.

The Palace is amazingly beautiful, internally and externally. Many pieces of art make the internal environment presenting paintings, sculptures, appliances and other objects from that period. Nevertheless, what really calls the attention is the garden.

A huge area, very well preserved, full of details and colours, having at the spring. Composing the architecture there are some columns offering a special touch to whole scene.

It was here where the product launching I´ve mentioned before took place. It had the performance of a String Quartet (and it could not be different, couldn´t it? If it was in Brazil the ending would be Samba, but on Mozart´s Land, symphony is the theme…at least in the event).

This palace proves, once again, why Europe captivates my attention so much and emphasises the fantastic triad this continent offers: culture, architecture and beautiful cities.
