Para aqueles que ainda não ouviram falar sobre essa banda, o Los Pirata é uma banda paulistana de San Pablo, como eles mesmos se apresentam. O trio é formado por Loco Sosa (bateria e vocal), Jesus Sanches (baixo) e Paco Garcia (guitarra e vocal) e o seu som seria algo como minimal-art-hard-latin-surf-rock. É isso mesmo, uma grande miscelânea muito bem administrada, cantada em portunholês (português+espanhol+inglês) e que vale a pena ser conferido.
Os caras já lançaram três álbuns: En Una Onda Neo-Punque, La Re-Vuelta e Les Show.
Se ouvi-los é bom, vê-los tocando ao vivo é melhor ainda. Eis que esses três “chicos” se apresentaram ontem no SESC Pinheiros, porém não o fizeram sozinho. Quatro ilustres convidados estiveram no palco e incrementaram o som para algo como minimal-comic-art-hip-hard-latin-surf-rock-hop.
Parece coisa de louco, mas é justamente isso o que vimos no palco do SESC, uma apresentação tremendamente louca, extremamente bem humorada e sonoramente fantástica.
Digam-me vocês…O que esperar quando no palco estão, junto com los Pirata, BNegão (ex-Planet Hemp), Marcelo Jeneci (instrumentista que já tocou com nomes como Vanessa da Mata), Curumim (multi-instrumentista) e André Abujamra (dispensa comentários).
Aliás, o que não esperar, porque eles tocaram de tudo. Entre uma faixa e outra do Los Pirata teve batida de “Sunday Bloody Sunday”, música tema do Pica-Pau, só pra citar algumas “intervenções” sonoras e, ao fundo, um telão com imagens dos integrantes complementava o visual com uma projeção “nervosa” e totalmente conectada com o show.
Em resumo, essa trupe toda não fez um show. Eles se divertiram e divertiram a todos que estavam no teatro Paulo Autran, no SESC Pinheiros, com talento, bom humor e grandes músicas.

Yes, that´s it! A great mix of sounds well coordinated with lyrics mixing portuguese-spanish-english in a very funny way. It must be listened to.

If it´s good to hear their songs, it´s even better to see them playing live. So, these three guys did a show yesterday at SESC Pinheiros, but they were not alone. On stage four special guests transformed the songs of Los Pirata into something like minimal-comic-art-hip-latin-surf-rock-hop.
I know it sounds completely crazy, but that´s exactly what we saw on the stage of SESC. An extremely crazy, a massively humorous and a musically fantastic performance.
We could not expect anything different since there were BNegao, Marcelo Jeneci, Curumim and Andre Abujamra on stage playing all together.
In fact it was even difficult to guess what we could expect. Just to have an idea between one song and another, they played the drums sound of “Sunday Bloody Sunday”, Woody Woodpecker theme on guitar among other songs. And on the visual side of the performance images of the band members and moments were projected at the back of the stage.
What we saw at SESC yesterday was not a performance. It was a friend reunion where they were having fun and entertained the audience with talent and great songs.
