Estava lendo o capítulo destinado à foto de animais e natureza no livro The Complete Photographer – Tom Ang – Editora DK. Como estava de malas prontas para curtir meu carnaval em Itararé, num roteiro totalmente natureza, nada como pegar algumas dicas e pô-las em prática.

O capítulo fala, inclusive, de fotos de animais em cativeiros. E, no mesmo instante, a imagem do Zoológico de São Paulo veio à mente e me instigou a visitá-lo e registrar os animais naquele ambiente. Assim, no domingo anterior ao carnaval, lá fui eu ao Zoológico de São Paulo.

O tempo não estava dos melhores. Céu cinza (para variar) atrapalhou um pouco no contraste da paisagem, mas quanto aos animais, até que consegui alguns cliques interessantes.

I was reading a chapter focused on photography of Nature and Animals on The Complete Photographer by Tom Ang – DK Publishing. As I was prepared to travel to Itarare in order to enjoy my carnival totally immersed into the nature, nothing as good as having some hints to improve the pictures.

The chapter was even mentioning how to explore the better results of pictures of captive animals, and it instantly reminded of Zoo Park in Sao Paulo and it stimulated me to visit it and photograph those animals under this situation.

The weather was not that good (the gray sky) to get the contrast of the Zoo landscape, however, regarding the animals themselves, I got some good images, although some insisted on getting hidden as usual.
