Os Jardins Suspensos da Rua Augusta / The Hanging Gardens of Augusta Street

This is not the official post about Augusta Street yet. Thinking it over, I believe there won´t be an official post in fact.

It´s something complex to say the least due to the diversity on Augusta Street. I hope the group of pictures taken from there and posted here presents a little of that street has to offer.

And it´s amazing how we still get surprised. Among those buildings in some arid and noisy environment of city centre and homeless, suddenly I noticed that in one and another window of one and another building there were flowers.

In fact, it was not only flowers, but plants too. A discreet attempt to provide a “dose of nature” to that place.

I got intrigued by noticing that it was a dose of nature indeed as the plants were in one or two windows in each building.

Maybe one of the street idiosyncrasies!
