O dia de trabalho em Recife, enfim, terminou e, assim tive uma noite de lazer mais livre, sem a preocupação do horário no dia seguinte.

Já que estava por lá, em plena Páscoa, resolvi ir ao Marco Zero da cidade assistir à encenação da Paixão de Cristo.

O espetáculo me surpreendeu! Um belo jogo de luzes e toda uma equipe para adequar o cenário às diversas cenas.

Eu estava distante, o que dificultou captar o espetáculo em detalhes, ainda assim, é possível ter uma idéia.

Vale ressaltar que o show de abertura foi realizado pelas 3 Irmãs Cegas da Paraíba (Campina Grande), um trio de música regional formado por Poroca (62 anos), Maroca (60 anos) e Indaiá (54 anos).

The working day was over in Recife, so I had some time to spare at night, without being worried about waking up early next morning.

I was in Recife during Easter Season, so I decided to go to the “City Ground Zero” where The Passion Play is presented every year. It surprised me by its scenery and set of lights.

Due to the fact I was not that close to the stage, I could not take pictures of the details, however, it´s possible to have an idea of the spectacle.

It´s worth mentioning that the opening show was performed by the “Three Blind Sisters of Campina Grande”, a regional folkloric group formed by Poroca (62), Maroca (60) and Indaia (54).
