Jardim das Horas ao vivo no Studio SP

Na semana passada postei sobre essa banda e seu show no Studio SP (vide post). Ontem, lá fui eu conferir ao vivo o que já havia me encantado no álbum Quarto das Cinzas.

Ao subirem ao palco, os integrantes do Jardim das Horas apenas confirmaram o que já era esperado, ou seja, envolveram a todos com aquela bela miscelânea sonora entre swing e groove dançante de um lado e uma introspecção e suavidade do melhor da música brasileira moderna do outro.

A surpresa ficou mesmo por conta da belíssima Laya Lopes, a vocalista do Jardim das Horas…(ou seria uma versão atual das sacerdotisas vestais?).

A sua beleza já era fato constatado, mas a sua presença de palco, a sua performance inebriante e sua simpatia era algo a mais a ser apreciado.

Diferente das castas sacerdotisas vestais, Laya exalava sedução e tinha em comum a “missão” de manter acesa a chama do Jardim das Horas no palco. E o fez com maestria! Tanto que os demais integrantes ficavam no seu “papel low profile” conscientes e focavam no que lhes era destinado, isto é, manter a melodia no compasso para deleite da musa do Jardim e agrado da platéia.

O Jardim das Horas nos concedeu um show fantástico, o qual não apenas não decepcionou como ainda surpreendeu.

Last week I posted about the Jardim das Horas show at Studio SP (see the post) and yesterday there I was to see live what enchanted me on their album Quarto das Cinzas.

On stage the band members just confirmed what was expected, I mean, they involved us all in a medley of swing and dancing groove from one side and soft and introspective melodies only found in the best examples of the modern Brazilian music on the other.

What surprised me, in fact, was the gorgeous Laya Lopes, Jardim das Horas vocalist (or would she be a modern version of a Vestal priestess?)

Her beauty was a fact already confirmed, however her performance on stage let us inebriated and her sympath was something more to enjoyed.

Unlike the Vestal priestesses, Laya exuded seduction and had in commom with those the mission of keep the Jardim das Horas fire on while on stage. And she did it so masterly that all the other members were co-starring with her and were focused on keeping the melody in perfect tune to the delight of the muse and the pleasure of the audience.

Jardim das Horas did not disappointed us. Their show was fantastic and surprised us all.
